A George III Carved Pine and Gesso Chimneypiece
A pine and gesso chimneypiece exhibiting intricately carved baskets of fruit and flowers and urns on the corner blocks. Fluted jambs lead to a laurel leaf capital and the extended frieze allows the elegant stems of acanthus on the central tablet breathing room.
