An exceptionally fine and well-proportioned early 19th century Regency Siena and Statuary marble chimneypiece. The plain central tablet flanked by blank corner blockings above fluted pilaster jambs on Siena grounds. The severe architectural design serves to accentuate the exceptional quality of the darkly figured Convent Siena. Circa 1810.
