An Early 19th Century Gothic Revival Chimneypiece

A highly decorative limestone chimneypiece in Medieval Gothic style. The shelf with a dentil motif is supported by a frieze carved with quatrefoil details. Tracery panels define the jambs. The detailed decorative elements of this chimneypiece are a direct interpretation of the 15th century Gothic architecture.
