A 19th Statuary Marble Louis XVI Style Column Chimneypiece

The spiral fluted columns with Doric capitals punctuated by carved flowers support corner blocks decorated with palmettes. The lower third of the columns are octagonal. An elegant and linear shelf is resting on the frieze carved in low relief with the decorative pattern of a continuous oval motif.
