A 19th century French Louis XVI style, statuary and veined white marble chimneypiece with rectangular shelf breaking over the jambs. The frieze carved with a laurel swag and wreath tied in the centre, the flanking end blockings with acanthus flowers above further acanthus leaf decorated scrolled consoles jambs with downward tapering shafts, each with well executed drops of running pearl. The whole on foot blocks.
