An early 19th century French Louis XVI Sarrancolin marble fireplace.The carved inlaid Statuary marble frieze of guilloche, paterae and bellflower design. Tapering fluted column jambs with inlaid stop flutes and husks, on acanthus leaf carved bases, and surmounted by capitals of egg and dart form, and swirled paterae. Circa 1820.
