A highly sophisticated 18th century neoclassical fireplace of white statuary and Brocatello marbles. The frieze with plain panelled central section flanked by double Greek key frets in Brocatello marble. The flanking end blockings in the form of Doric triglyphs in white statuary, capping the tapering pilaster jambs, which rest on foot blocks. Circa 1790.
