An good example of a popular Regency form, the pollard oak surface exceptionally well-preserved and strung with ebony, the two drawers flanked by scroll and shell carved supports, raised on trapezium end-supports and ebony claw feet. Grecian in form and not dissimilar in style to works by Bullock, Tatham, and George Smith, there is a cleanliness and elegance to the overall design.
