Bexley Table

A monumental scale octagonal refectory centre table, constructed in oak with eight-sided quarter sawn top, with robustly carved and architecturally formed entasis column legs. United by crossed stretchers, the design draws clear inspiration from the great architects, designers, and cabinetmakers of the Arts and Crafts movement and Cotswold School, with many comparable designs (both as dining and centre tables) by Edwin Lutyens and Ernest Gimson.
