Jamb Gramont fireplace


A carved stone fireplace in the late 18th century French style. The rectangular breakfront shelf sits above a conforming frieze centred by a rectangular tablet carved with ribbon tied swags of laurel leaves and flanked by panels of geometric blind carved trellis. The fluted and stop fluted jambs are decorated with beads and headed by rectangular leaf carved paterae.
