This Bath stone fireplace, of late 18th century Gothic Revival design, has a moulded shelf, serpentine in shape at the centre, terminating over the jambs into quatrefoils, with deep arched cusps. Above the shoulders of the aperture, the frieze is decorated with quatrefoils within circles. The jambs are inset with panels terminating with trefoils decorated with oak leaves, the whole supported on cusped plinth foot blocks.
