A Portland stone fireplace of mid 18th century design, the frieze with a panelled centre tablet, flanked on either side by panels decorated with overlapping circular paterae, beneath a moulded shelf. The pilaster jambs are also decorated with circular overlapping paterae surmounted by acanthus corbels.
