An Irish Regency Statuary and Siena Marble Chimneypiece

A 19th century well proportioned chimneypiece carved in white statuary marble with inlays in Siena marble of the highest quality. A reeded detail runs along the jambs and frieze, which supports a moulded shelf. The central tablet depicts a pastoral scene, with a shepherd resting underneath a tree with his herd.
