A delightful, English Regency fireplace in jet black, Derbyshire marble

A good English, Regency fireplace in highly polished jet black Derbyshire marble. With plain squared rectangular shelf sitting directly on the pulvinated frieze, the rectangular end blockings carved with roundels upheld by the Doric half columns facing the pilaster jambs. The whole resting on canted foot blocks. Circa 1810–1820.
