An attractive, Louis XV, Sarrancolin marble chimneypiece of superb colour

An attractive, French Louis XV (1715–1774) style and period, Sarrancolin marble antique fireplace of superb colour, circa 1745. With serpentine shelf and frieze, which is centred with a well sculpted acanthus leaf, upheld by a rococo C-scroll. The console shaped jambs with simple but visually effective, panelled geometric decoration. The whole raised on foot blocks.
