A late 19th Century Bardiglio chimneypiece, featuring three-quarter reeded pilaster jamb columns and a reeded frieze with contrasting blank central tablet. The pilaster columns support an elegant moulded shelf and rest on semi-circular footblocks. The lively veining of the marble creates an impressively figured pattern throughout the simple and architectural design.
