Large Selwyn

A hexagonal lantern in the George IV Gothic style, with curved upper supports terminating in a crown, decorated with running trefoil castings. The brim of the glazed panels also decorated with a trefoil motif, above turned finials.

At 80cm tall, this is the original Selwyn lantern, from which our Grand and Small models were drawn from. At this scale, the union of Gothic detail and Georgian classicism works elegantly.
