A fine London-made clock, by William Jourdain, c.1775. The case is decorated with chinoiserie motifs on a blue-black lacquer ground, all in dry, untouched, country house condition. The brass face features hour and second hands, a seconds dial, and a date wheel. The movement has been cleaned and is in full working order.
