POA

Carefully dry stripped to reveal the soft lustre of the original gilt surface, the table has exceptional carving to the shaped frieze, on wonderfully drawn cabriole acanthus carved legs, with draped and foliate swags, and central female mask. The later (but 19th Century) highly figured breche violette marble top, with adaptations in size.
