An Early 19th Century White Statuary marble Chimneypiece with Bardiglio Inlays.
A well proportioned Regency period fireplace with a simple shelf that surmounts the frieze decorated with oak leaf and acorns. The central tablet depicts a classical run abundant with fruit, while paterae are carved on the conrerblocks. Panels of a deep grey / blue Bardiglio marble decorate the jambs and frieze.
