A Regency chimneypiece in White Statuary marble
A 19th century English chimneypiece carved in white marble, featuring a simple moulded shelf supported by a reeded frieze with a blank central tablet at centre, and baskets with fruit and flowers on the cornerblocks at either side. The jambs in the shape of tapering reeded columns rest on squared footblocks.
