A Regency style columned chimneypiece carved in Carrara marble in Ireland during the early 19th century. A simple shelf is supported by a panelled frieze with a Siena marble central tablet and bullseye cornerblocks. The jambs in the shape of simple yet elegant Doric columns stand on squared footblocks.
