A Handsome Neoclassical Chimneypiece in Statuary and Verde Antico Marble.

A 19th century statuary and Antico Verde marble fireplace in an earlier Neoclassical style. With a tiered and moulded shelf above the double Greek key frieze, centred with a panelled plain centre tablet. The flanking rectangular blockings with oval paterae decoration, upheld by the pilaster console tapering jambs, each inlaid with Antico Verde on ogee socles. Circa 1850.
