An unusually large and impressive pair of 19th Century French Louis XV1 (1774-1791) style chimney pieces of white statuary marble. Of typical rectangular form; the frieze decorated with a running guilloche centred with well carved flower heads, framed with in running pearl borders. The console-shaped, fluted jambs capped with acanthus blockings. The whole raised on foot blocks.
