A huge scale Bolection chimneypiece carved in charming Botticino marble, with a pronounced ogee moulding that elegantly meets the floor without interruption.
The Bolection model was firstly found in Italy during the 15th century, and swiftly adopted by British architects during their grand tour who made a great use of it during the 18th century for country houses and stately homes.
