A tall crown of gilt feathers stands upon this globe lantern of opaline glass. This crown’s elongated form is a beautiful contrast against the clean upper hemisphere of glass which forms a pleasing dome. A brass band of distressed gilt runs about the centre of the globe and quarters the lower hemisphere.
