Upton Sofa
The design of this handsome and overscale sofa is taken from a 19th century English country house model, favoured for its sculptural camelback and generous seat depth, resting on four robustly turned front legs. Incorporating substantially cast brass casters (following the lost wax process, and copied faithfully from an original), this sofa has all the comfort of the synonymous Howard and Sons siege de duvet feather and down style of upholstery, whilst retaining clarity and a stricter line around the scrolling arms and sweeping back. Photographed with both tight upholstery, and a removable loose cover with wide box pleats, which can be specified if required.
