This impressive fireplace of the Greek Ionic order features a central tablet carved with a ribbed classical Tazza shaped vase draped with swags of flowers, housed in a fluted frieze. The corner blocks are adorned with lidded urns and sit above jambs formed by fluted pilasters ending in dramatic Ionic capitals.
