Medium Kick with Studded Shade
A large-scale hand formed brass coolie shade, with a studded metal edge and joint, hanging from a single flex. Coolie shades were popularised by Sir Edwyn Lutyens in the turn of the 20th Century, when electric light was wired into the service corridors and galley kitchens of English Country Houses for the first time.
