New Additions to the Jamb lighting & furniture reproduction collections.
5 October 2018

September was unbelievably busy with London design week and I feel that only now we have settled into a normal pace of getting new product to market that we have been working on for many months that joins ourlighting and furniture reproduction collections.

With the recent feature of our new London warehouse in the October World of Interiors magazine, it focused on my habit of buying antique furniture and chimneypieces at an alarming rate that has almost entirely filled the 20,000 square ft space.

Successfully filling the 20,000 square ft warehouse!

There was also mention that I never sit in my new acquired office in the warehouse, but in fact I am there every week! Working alongside my product development team we are continually working on new product, so I hope that the four launched this week will have a great response and prove that I have other talents apart from buying!

Where the inspiration flows and the product development takes place.

That said I am always inspired by the antique pieces that I buy and then develop into new product. This week I have launched four new lights, some that have been inspired by the art deco originals, others designed entirely by us.

The new Armstrong and Gray light are the Deco inspired pieces that I hope are going to appeal to so many.

The new reproduction Art Deco inspired Wall light.

The Armstrong, named after Armstrong Gibbs, the 1920’s composer is an Art Deco inspired wall light. The size and elegant shape is very appealing and I love the idea of multiples lining a corridor. I find the shape divine.

The Gray Art Deco inspired ceiling light.

The Gray light is the first ceiling light we have created. It is cast in solid brass and patinated with a rich bronze finish . Art deco in feel, the classic angular design of interlocking shapes is incredibly pure. Although clearly from another age it’s design integrity makes it just as relevant today and works in classic and modern interiors alike.

Introducing the Benn reproduction wall light.

TheBenn and the Carter wall lights continue the vein of more affordable lighting products that I was keen to develop alongside the large globe lanterns. These lights are solidly engineered fixtures and the heavy weight and craftsmanship of each design reflects the quality of the product. Individually crafted and hand patinated, the Benn can be used in wet locations with its clever integral IP44 bulb.

The Albury Regency style sofa is our fifth country house sofa in our reproduction furniture range. It is perfectly oversized with bold roundel decorated frieze on turned leaf decorated legs, and brass cappings and castors. It is shown here in an aged painted finish and other wood finish options are available.

All pieces will be introduced into our London Pimlico Road showroom and we look forward to introducing them to you soon.
