An unusually large and impressive 19th century French, Louis XVI (1774–1791) style chimneypieces of white statuary marble. Of typical rectangular form; the frieze decorated with a running guilloche centred with well carved flower heads, framed with in running pearl borders. The console shaped, fluted jambs capped with acanthus blockings. The whole raised on foot blocks.
