A 19th century French Louis XVI style chimneypiece in Poannazza marble, a creamy white marble with dark flecks in black and purple. The chimneypiece with rectangular shelf above the Vitruvian scroll decorated freize which is flanked by square blockings carved with foliage which are upheld by console-shaped jambs, with falling inverted foliage. The opening with curved corners.
