A pretty, well drawn and decorated Regency period, white statuary marble fireplace. The shelf with rounded ends and moulded edge. The frieze with a framed central tablet carved with leafy scrolling flowering acanthus, almost certainly taken from an antique relief, this is flanked by tablets with inset oval cartouches. The pilaster jambs with elongated cartouches echoing those on the frieze and capped with square blockings with flower headed paterae, the whole on foot blocks.
