A charming 18th century Portland stone chimneypiece of rare Gothic design. The thick moulded shelf of ogee shape is decorated with flutes above a band of large beads. The arched opening decorated on the soffit with a continuous band of arches upheld by faceted columns. Circa 1770. Provenance Great Haseley Manor, Oxfordshire.
